Companies always seem to be against change and warn of higher prices - as the Big Three did every time we asked them to make more efficient, smaller cars, or an electric car - but when they are eventually forced to make the changes, the price of the new technology rapidly declines and the energy savings add up. Let's just get on with this. Of course, given the climate crisis we face, we would be better off to all shut off our televisions and spend that extra time actively working to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and prepare for the coming emergency!
