Posing as representatives from the US Chamber of Commerce, the Yes Men created a fake press conference at the prestigious National Press Club announcing that the Chamber was reversing its position on climate change policy, and promised to immediately cease lobbying against the Kerry-Boxer bill. Everything was going as planned, with major news organizations covering the announcement and getting roped in, until an actual COC rep caught wind of the hoax and shut things down.
