Eco Tech: 13 new solar-plants being planned for U.S. to power over 29 million homes
Ecofriend — ... states, which have enormous solar potential and each site is capable of producing more than 10MW of green electricity. Construction on the projects should begin as early as 2010, with a goal of powering more than 29 million homes with 100,000MW of solar generated electricity. The federal Bureau of Land Management has received applications for 158 solar projects on 1.8 million acres, which collectively can help the feds achieve their goal. Via: RGB
