The $2,195 mower can be recharged using a conventional wall socket in 12 hours after which it can function for three hours provided you don’t weigh too much. The machine is also packaged with a few safety features like the Operator Presence Switch that detects the operator’s presence and stops the blades once the operator gets down from the seat.

... do need one for some reason, an electric version makes a lot of sense. Get more details and vote after the jump. The Recharge Mower ($2,195) can be completely charged overnight, runs for 3 hours on a full battery, connects to a standard wall outlet, is described as "extremely quiet," needs no gas or oil, and produces no emissions. We still like reel mowers, but this might be a nice option if you were stuck with a giant lawn.
